S999 fine silver contains 99.9% silver and is softer than S925 sterling silver. Strong pressure can scratch, dent or distort a fine-silver ring, so remove it before lifting heavy objects, exercising or doing household work. Small surface changes from normal wear are expected and become part of the ring's finish.

Tarnish is a surface reaction and does not by itself mean the silver is fake. First wipe the ring dry, then gently use the included silver polishing stick or a soft silver-polishing cloth.
